Gift Guide: The Little Extras

Two posts in one day?! Well, with Christmas only a week away I thought it was about time to get those last minute gift ideas in (please tell me I’m not the only one who is yet to finish their gift buying?!) and my final gift guide is all about those little extras. You know when you’ve bought a loved one a main gift and you’re looking for something smaller to go with it, those sort of things. You could even consider them stocking fillers if you’re looking to spend a little extra on them!

Kate Spade Notepad* – I already featured a piece of stationery (Kate Spade again, coincidentally) in an earlier gift guide, but what can I say? You can never go wrong with stationery in my opinion – and isn’t this leopard print one a-bloody-mazing! It’s the perfect chuck it in your bag sort of notebook for anyone who likes to keep organised on the go.

Miss Etoile Star Print Mug* – Now I have to fess up here, but I have quite the mug collection. But what can I say, I’m a huge tea drinker! If you have a loved one who is barely seen without a hot drink in their hand, then a great gift idea is a mug like this one. Star print is my thing this season and the metallic finish on this mug is such a festive touch!

Chocolate & Love Chocolate Bars* – And of course, chocolate is always an option. I was recently introduced to this organic range of dark chocolates available in Sainsbury’s. No more expensive than a standard chocolate bar (I think this retail for around £2-3 each) they sell a huge range of flavours from coffee (my fave) to orange and even salted caramel!

Gold Geometric Tealight Holder* – A few of my friends this year have moved into their first homes, so homeware has been a large theme going through my gift buying this year. I think smaller decorative home pieces are a great alternative, and this geometric (it’s a tiny star print!) tealight holder makes for the perfect gift.

NEOM Stress Relief Rollerball* – Something I always carry around with me is a little rollerball that I apply to my pulse points (inside of wrists, forehead etc) whenever I’m feeling anxious or overwhelmed, and personally, little gifts like these are always my favourite. NEOM are a real luxe feeling brand who create some of the most relaxing of scents, and this mini rollerball is perfect for any loved ones who is prone to feeling a little anxious. It’s such a lovely little pick me up!

That Selfie Pro Thing* – We’re all keen on taking the odd selfie or ten, but when it comes to nights out, lighting is always a big issue (I mean, who wants grainy photos?!) – however, I’ve got you sorted with this clip-on selfie phone light. Like with other clip-on lenses, you just slide it onto the top of your phone and it gives the most flattering light. It charges easily via USB and lasts many uses!

Are you for buying little extra gifts too? I’d love to know your go-tos!
