In between showers of rain (hence the rather frizzy mane) I decided to debut this floral dress whilst out exploring the other weekend. Now, admittedly I’m not normally the first to reach for a floral print as I tend to favour a good ol’ stripe, however, this dress caught my eye in an instant (I’m blaming the bow detailing around the neckline – SO cute!) and I love how it pairs with my trusty fedora. It’s been a while since any other hat from my baker boy has featured in my outfit posts (soz about that) so I thought it was about time that I gave this ASOS fedora I picked up a few months ago in the sale a go.

Speaking of sales, these ghillie heels from Primark are one of my latest finds – down to only £6 in the sale. Of course I spotted just two pairs left… in a size 3 and size 8. As a size 4, I thought I’d missed out, but lo and behold, the size 3 fit me perfectly and needless to say I practically sprinted over to the till. With a super comfy sized heel, I’m able to wear them all day without reaching for the plasters and they give me some much needed height when it comes to bringing out my summer dresses. No doubt this won’t be the last time they feature in my blog, but what can I say? I’m obsessed.

I’ve really been enjoying blogging regularly the last few weeks. For months on end I’ve been feeling quite deflated about my blog, and whilst I’m still not 100% happy about things (namely my camera and the fact I can’t actually choose a focus point which is a bit of a pain) I finally think I’m starting to get there, and I have lots of fun posts planned for this month. For the time being I’ll be posting each Monday, Wednesday and Friday but I’m really excited to create lots of new content. I’ve been spending more time reading blogs (if you have any recommendations of blogs to check out, then let me know!) and I’m the most inspired I’ve been in months!

So how are you all? Anyone else totally on board with the Summer-inspired clothing right now? (although as I write this I’m currently bundled under a blanket in front of the fire… oh, June)
