We all know that if I were to answer a question as to who my style icon is then it would be a certain Miss Chung, so when I first heard about the Archive by Alexa collaboration with M&S I knew I’d find myself after a few of the pieces. After a little investigating, I saw the campaign pictures featuring this blouse and I knew it had to be mine. Cue a little saving, and some frantic ordering on the day of release, I managed to pick up this Harry blouse in both pink and white because I’m like that. I’ve already had a lot of wear out of the two of them (and plenty of compliments to go with) and I thought it was about time that I got them featured in an outfit post of mine. This season I’m all about the high necks and the ruffle details so this blouse is a perfect combination of the two – I particularly love the detail around the sleeves too. It’s one of those pieces I can throw on and look like I’ve made more effort than I probably have and I can see it being a real staple for me for months to come.
I particularly love to pair this pink one with denim, namely this button down pinafore number that I picked up in Topshop sale over Christmas time. Whilst it probably isn’t the most flattering of dresses (these photographs have certainly prompted me to start eating that little more healthier!) I love the cut along the neckline as I have none other like it. I’m all about incorporating that 60s vibes into my outfits, so of course I couldn’t help but wear this pointed block heels which I wear all of the time. I love the vibe they add to my outfits and although they’re starting to look somewhat battered, I can’t see myself putting them away for a long time. And of course, I’m wearing this hat which I don’t actually think I’ve gone a day without all year so far… crazy I know. But what can I say, paired with these mirror sunglasses that I picked up in H&M a few weeks ago, I think they’re a hat and sunglasses combo made in heaven, right?
