This post should come with a warning of blossom overload, but with the sun making a rather lovely appearance yesterday, me and my family decided to grab our National Trust membership cards (yes, we’re that cool) and head west to Acorn Bank – a house and gardens not far from the Lake District. I hadn’t really planned to take any outfit photographs, but then I spotted the blossoms were in bloom and I couldn’t resist. I mean just look at that incredible white blossom, it was truly breathtaking. There’s something about this time of year that’s truly magical.
When it comes to Sunday walks, I always like my outfits to be a little practical, because lets be honest, there’s often a lot of mud involved. However, the spring-like weather had me at hello and I brought along my favourite jacket of the moment with me. I’m all about those blush pinks right now (like, if I could wear it head-to-toe without looking like a marshmallow, I probs would) so when I spotted this denim jacket in my local supermarket for a total bargain, I knew it had to be mine. I had to size down so bare that in mind, but it’s surprisingly versatile – I just love how it pairs with denim (yes, I’m totally down for double denim when different colours are involved). Keeping practicality in mind, backpacks are often my bag of choice and this Radley one is no exception. It’s super light (for those who carry around everything around with them *cough* me *cough*), showerproof and rather stylish, don’t you think? It basically ticks every single box if like me you like time spent in the outdoors. And of course, I’m wearing my hat. This thing is practically glued to my head right now, #sorrynotsorry, but I’ve found it quite tricky to find a pair of sunglasses that go nicely. That is, until I picked up this reflective rayban-inspired ones in H&M last week. Aren’t they amazing? And perfect for those of us who blink in every. damn. photograph..!
I hope you all had a wonderful weekend too, what did you do to celebrate the sunnier weather?
