Midi skirts have always been a style of clothing I’ve admired, but from a far (as like with maxi skirts), fearing that they’d make my look even more vertically challenged. However, after wearing this pleated number from AngelEye Fashion, I realised rather quickly that I shouldn’t have – and I wished I’d been wearing them sooner. Okay, so it’s not completely midi, but it’s sort of in-between a mini and midi (a mindi shall we say?), and it suits me perfectly. Plus, they’re a total blessing on windy days! (did not have to change into this skirt as I’d had a shorter skirt mishap only minutes earlier, nope, not at all…)
Trying to let the skirt being the main feature, I decided to keep the rest of the quite basic. I’m a white-shirt hoarder (because you can never have too many, right?) and this ASOS offering is a total beauty, I mean, have you seen that scalloped collar? Swoon. And of course I’m wearing my duster coat, I’m genuinely concerned I may be too attached. It’s just so perfect (and the easier fling-on coat ever). Although, saying that, my new hat from H&M is just as wonderful – I’ve been wearing it non-stop. You know that scene in Matlida where Mr Wormwood has the hat glued to his head? Yep.
