With the weather this week having been glorious, it was the perfect opportunity to go out exploring around Newcastle and shoot more outfit shots with Helen. She introduced me to this little walkway behind a block of apartments (with a lobster on the floor, odd huh?) and they proved a lovely backdrop for today’s outfit post.
I know what you’re thinking, yes, I finally bought myself a new hat! I was getting a little bored of my usual go-to accessory and wanted a version more suitable for the summer, which is when I came across this lilac beauty from ASOS. I knew the hat would fit (as I’d tried the black one my friends owned) and when there was a 25% code going around, I just couldn’t resist! I love how it adds a little muted colour to my mainly monochrome outfits. I also bought this top from ASOS in their sale a few months ago, as it’s geometric print and boxy fit caught my eye. I prefer to cover the tops of my arms, so I’m always looking for tops suitable for the hotter weather and it fitted the bill perfectly. Believe it or not, these trousers were my school trousers about 5 years ago that I’d kept incase I ever had to dress smarter than usual. I hadn’t worn them since, but I really love how they look so I definitely think I’ll be getting more wear out of them in the next few months. Who’d have thought I’d be choosing to wear my school trousers?!
