(Outfit Details: Hat – Primark, Top – Primark, Skirt – Topshop, Necklace – Miss Selfridge, Midi Rings – River Island and Topshop)
Can you believe it’s been since October that I last posted an outfit post?! Jeez. The last time I took outfit photographs inside the house was even longer ago, oops. So when the British weather decided to finally grant us a little bit of sunlight, I jumped at the chance to take a few pictures of today’s clothes. Plus I had my hair highlighted for the first time the other day (and a new hair colour/cut always makes me want to take photos – anyone else?!), so I thought why not.
Yes, I’m wearing that skirt. You know, the one everyone and their kitten seems to own. What can I say? I am in love. While it is a little too big for me (the size difference between the 8 and 10 was craaazy) it’s nothing layering a top over doesn’t hide. If you read my blog last year, you know gingham is my thang, so when I saw this skirt appear all over the blogosphere I knew it had to be mine. I thought wasn’t meant to be, after discovering it was sold out both online and in all of my local Topshops, however, patience prevailed and I managed a random one in my size a few weeks ago, one someone had returned – hooray!
The top I’m wearing is one of my favourites, and a bargain at only £2 from Primark. It’s a very fine knit which hangs wonderfully, making it something very flattering. So when I saw it was in the sale at Primark, I couldn’t not pick it up. I just wish they’d been more colours… definitely wouldn’t have bought them all, nope. As someone who doesn’t tend to wear jewellery (purely as I always forget to) this necklace is something I bought months ago and has never seen the light of day. I quite like how it’s both rose gold and gold – my favourites!
Ps – spot the camera remote.. can you tell that hiding them in photographs isn’t my forte, haha! These are the only photographs where I’m not dancing. Note to self: Don’t listen to Imagine Dragons and Haim whilst taking photos…
