(Outfit Details: Denim Jacket – Topshop, White Tee – Mod Dolly, Checked Trousers – Matalan, Bag – ZARA, Sunglasses – Juicy Couture (from TK Maxx), Sandals – Topshop)

Here’s my second (and final) outfit post from the lovely island of Menorca where I was on holiday only a week ago. These were taken on the second day whilst I was there, in the island’s town of Ciutadella. As you can tell from the photographs, it was a pretty hot day and me being me, picked the least cool (as in cold) outfit possible, haha.

The t-shirt is something I picked up from Mod Dolly at Newcastle Fashion Weekend over a month ago, and I absolutely love it. It’s a classic white (cropped-ish) tee but with a twist, some lovely broide-anglais detailing on the bottom with scalloped edging, cut outs and dainty little embroidered flowers all over. It’s already had plenty of wear, I’m even wearing it whilst I write this post up by coincidence! I decided to pair it with these navy gingham/check trousers which I found in Matalan just before leaving to go away. They’re meant to be 7/8 length however they actually fit me full length since I’m short, so I tend to pull them up high-waisted as I prefer that fit. There’s something about gingham print at the minute, I can’t see to get enough of it – so for £10 I couldn’t really complain. And of course, the bag, it seems to be glued onto my shoulder currently… although it is looking slightly mis-shaped due to me over-packing it, haha whoops!

The denim jacket I’m wearing I practically live in (as in, I wear it 6 out of 7 days a week). I bought this over 5 years ago from Topshop, and it has many memories attached to it – I don’t think I could ever part with it. It’s always been my ‘gig jacket’ (sad, I know) so I always think of the times I’ve met some of my favourite bands/had some of my favourite days whenever I wear this and it makes me happy.

Have any of you got any pieces of clothing with memories attached to them?

Ps. You may have noticed I have a new layout – I’m so excited. I’ll be doing my next post about my layout and who done the ever so wonderful illustrations, so watch this space!
